The 2013 Festival Cinema Invisible is dedicated to screening films made by Iranian filmmakers both inside and outside Iran as well as films made by non-Iranians with Iranian issues and events as central theme of the film.

General Participation: FCI only accepts films that do not have signed distribution. Films are programmed for public screening in two sections of competitions and non-competition. Each section is divided into diverse categories where films are placed at discretion of the programming committee.

Non-Competition: Only the films made by those filmmakers whose other films have received distribution may participate in this section. However, the specific film screened in this section may not have a signed distributi

Competition: Only the films made by filmmakers who have not had any of their films signed for distribution may participate in the competition section

CATEGORIES:

Documentary Competition: Real events, real people, real stories. This category is divided into two selections:

1. ShortDocs : Documentary films 30 minutes and shorter)

2. LongDocs: Documentaries films 31 minutes and longer)

Short Film Competition: Showcasing the best short films from the region in focus. This category is divided into three selections:

1. Short short shorts: Films 12 minutes or shorted

2. Short shorts: Films longer than 12 minutes but shorter than 20 minutes

3. Shorts: Films longer than 20 minutes but shorter than 40 minutes

4. Long shorts: Films longer than 40 minutes but shorter than 60 minutes.

Feature Films Competition: Screening feature films that have not received distribution outside the country where the film was made.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 2013 FCI submission deadline is March 15, 2013. All films must be postmarked no later than 5pm on March 15, 2013.

FORMAT: FCI only accepts a universal DVD copy of film submitted.
